A profitable investment, a decent income, and a warm and welcoming holiday home are among a few of the various reasons that are generating interest in Fuerteventura property. Fuerteventura, the second largest canary island, is just a four hour flight from the UK. Fuerteventura’s economy is based upon tourism and therefore rental income lists as an important business activity. The island has the requisite infrastructure, and is yet secluded enough to be categorized as a peaceful getaway, especially for Britons not very enchanted with the unreliable UK summers. Pleasant weather, white sandy beaches, and little rainfall, all together present enough reasons to contemplate a Fuerteventura property purchase.

Geographically, the 100 km long and 31 km wide island is divided into six municipalities. While investing in a Fuerteventura property, it would be of interest to know the property markets of these municipalities better and thus buy accordingly.

Following an alphabetical sequence, Antigua is the first municipality. Antigua is one of the oldest villages, with tourism, agriculture and fishing as the key revenue generating activities. Towards the east coast of this municipality, there are popular resort areas and sites of interest: for instance there is Caleta de Fuste; a purpose built resort town. Caleta de Fuste, is about a 10 minutes drive from Fuerteventura International Airport and has various eateries, shops, boutiques, etc., on / near the beaches. Diving, windsurfing, golfing, and scuba activities are key recreation possibilities. The municipality is also home to a natural monument and Molino de Antigua Cultural Touristic Centre. Another region of particular interest in Antigua is Triquivijate. Those checking out Fuerteventura property should not skip Triquivijate. A rustic villa in a sun, for a price cheaper than a resort area, best outlines property choices in this area.

Betancuria is the next municipality. With the lowest population in Fuerteventura, Betancuria offers places of interest like Aguas Verdes, which is a hotel complex, and Ajuy, a traditional village towards the west coast.

La Olivia municipality lies towards the northern region of Fuerteventura and is the most popular area within this island. Corralejo resort and El Cotillo, a harbour town, are key highlights of this municipality. Corralejo, which was once just a fishing village, presently has been developed to be a principal resort on the island. When the discussion relates to a Fuerteventura property, only the uninformed would skip Corralejo. Water sports are in abundance here and the main street has numerous shops and restaurants, which unfailingly fascinates whoever visits Fuerteventura. Other areas which can be checked under the category of Fuerteventura property in La Olivia are Villaverde Property, Tamaragua Property, Tindaya Property, El Roque Property, La Caldereta Property, Las Caletas Property, Majanicho Property, Parque Holandes Property and more.

Next is the municipality of Pajara, which has the longest stretch of coastline. It is a municipality witnessing decent developments and thus investing could yield desirable returns. A few popular Pajara property areas are Jandia, Costa calma, la Pared, Cañada del Rio and more.

Puerto Del Rosario, the island’s capital, is the fifth municipality. This is another area which is showcasing commendable developments, especially around the port and Playa Blanca area. Tuineje is the final name in the list. Fuerteventura property in Tuineje would mean a warm climate, new and traditional constructions and the typical canarian charm. Prominent towns of this municipality are Pozo Negro, the destination for the annual agricultural show, Giniginamar, Juan Gopal, Las Casitas, Gran Tarajal, Las Playitas, Tarajalejo, Tequital, etc.

Fuerteventura is an island with many delightful locations to seriously consider and Fuerteventura property choices has something to offer for everyone looking for an overseas property.

Every time an individual goes to the grocery store, the items in the cart may be less, yet the total bill is still higher. Likewise, based upon the prices at the pump, consumers may often wonder if the tank is being filled with liquid gold.

In general, the cost of living seems to be rising faster than the typical household budget can accommodate. No problem! If cash is short, simply whip out the little plastic rectangle from the wallet, and basic needs, and many wants, will not have to be sacrificed to a shortage in finances. Actually, used in excess, credit card debt can fast become a really big problem, and insurmountable financial woes are lurking around the corner.

Used in moderation, credit cards are an excellent tool for making necessary purchases. For example, possessing large amounts of cash seems like tempting would-be pickpockets and muggers to “pick me!” Rather than opening a wallet to reveal the entire vacation budget, travelers often opt to use a credit card for financing the journey. Actually, the practice is a smart idea, under one vital condition: avoid credit card debt; pay the subsequent bill in its entirety.

For the rare individual, a credit card is an excellent means of controlling the budget and earning cash back, or significant travel rewards. Used carefully, a credit card can be implemented for paying all the regular bills, groceries, and gas. Then, at the end of the month, when the bill arrives, the amount is paid in full with a single check or an electronic funds transfer.

Unfortunately, a growing number of credit users are experiencing the financial woes of credit card debt, because the bill cannot be paid in full during the billing cycle. Month after month, the unpaid balance continues to grow, and in no time at all, the card is maxed out. In addition, once someone has one active credit card account, the mailbox is soon inundated with offers for introductory rates on additional cards. Soon, one card-for emergencies only-soon becomes 2, 3, 4, or more cards.

At first, the credit seems like “free” money. With only a signature, a consumer can purchase the perfect outfit, electronic device, or any number of wants. Yeah! Tired of always having to feel deprived, or shopping for sales, the card seems like a dream come true, until the bill arrives, and the person wakes to a real-life nightmare. Now, the budget is even tighter, to included the new credit card bill/bills. Spending is out of control, and the consequences of credit card debt can be devastating.

The consequences are bills, bills, and more bills, compounded by the excessive interest on the unpaid balance. Generally, credit cards charge 18-23 percent interest. While the numbers may seem insignificant at the time, the additional monies owed for the privilege of paying the balance back over a long period can add up quickly. For example, an individual finds a nice television set on sale for $500. Instead of saving and purchasing a set when he/she can afford it, the credit card comes in handy.

Now, assume the credit card company charges 18% yearly interest, and the minimum monthly payment is 10%. An individual will take 2.5 years to pay off the single purchase, which will end up costing a whopping $575. Actually, most credit card providers only require a 2% minimum payment. Refigured, the single purchase will take almost 4 years to pay off, and the interest amount is an unbelievable $198! Free money? Nothing can be farther from the truth.

Credit card companies are not benevolent individuals graciously helping people out of the budget crunch. Like any business, the object is to make money. Instead of kind benefactors, some credit card companies are better described as relatives of loan sharks.

However, instead of breaking a person’s legs if he/she is unable to pay the bill, credit card debt can destroy good credit. Now, the individual will have future trouble purchasing a car, buying a house, qualifying for student loans, etc. For some, bankruptcy is the only way out of credit card debt, and he/she can lose everything.

However, before diving into total depression over credit card debt, observe the light at the end of the tunnel. Free services are available to help people negotiate with lenders to reduce the amount of interest. Also, the debt counselors can consolidate all debts, reducing the interest rates, and bringing the payments down to a manageable amount, with a catch. The debtor is no longer allowed to purchase anything on credit, until the balance is paid. Otherwise, credit card debt will only get worse, with no recourse.

The best advice: do not depend on credit to fill shortcomings in the budget. Instead, refigure the budget, learn to conserve, do without, and save for major purchases. In the event a credit card must be used in true emergencies-like unexpected auto repairs or emergency room visits-pay the bill off as soon as possible, and always pay more than the minimum amount. Also, if the temptation to spend in advance is too strong, cut up the credit cards and throw them in the trash.

In summary, credit card debt is a growing problem. While the convenience seems like free money at the time, the consequences can be financially devastating. Although a credit card is great for emergencies or vacations, pay the balance in full or as soon as possible. Always pay more than the minimum payment requested, and stick to an affordable budget.

The word Similan is actually derived from the Malay word for nine – Simbilan. Comprised of nine granite islands that run from north to the south in the Andaman Sea off the western coast of Thailand, the National Park also includes Koh Bon, a limestone island that lies 30 kms to the north. Diving Similan Islands is widely regarded as the finest in Thailand.

The water temperature around the Similan Islands varies between 27 and 29 degrees celcius. Depending on environmental factors the clarity (visibility) ranges from 10 – 30m. Much of the reason for the clear waters around the park is due to the fact that there are no large rivers in the area that would otherwise bring silt and sediment and thus disturb the clarity of the water.

On the eastern coastlines of the islands divers can enjoy sloping fringe reefs in protected bay areas, here tranquil coral gardens create a myriad of colors. Soft purple and red corals bring the reefs to life whilst dense schools of glass fish congregate above. Whilst on the western facing coasts the topography of the Similans has become famous the world over for its gigantic granite boulders that stack up against one and other. Encrusted gorgonian fans sway in the currents that bring nutrient rich waters and often larger fish than you might expect on the eastern facing coasts. To be able to enjoy such contrasting topographical features over such a realtively small area is why the Similan Islands has become so popular to dive travelers the world over.

Of the large pelagics that you might expect encounters with, leopard sharks are not uncommon. Usually lying in deeper waters on sandy ledges its best to approach from the front or side so that they can see you approach, do so cautiously and its quite likely it’ll allow you to get within reasonable distance for a photo. Manta rays can sometimes seen gliding past on the deeper boulder sites and even the whale shark has been known to make an appearance. There’s also an abundance of macro life to be found, look on the underhangs of coral bombies for ghost pipe fish. Frog fish, although masters of disguise, can also be found for those with keen eyes. Colorful ribbon eels usually prefer to be in deeper waters in sandy rubbly areas and make good photo subjects.

All in all diving Similan Islands make for a great holiday getaway, with a whole range of liveaboards and day trip options on offer it still an attracive destination for even the most seasoned diver.

Once part of the Sumatran mainland, Pulau Weh became separated during a period of seismic activity around 1 million years ago and now lies 20 kilometers offshore from the northern tip of Sumatra. The deep oceanic trenches that surround the island bring nutrient rich waters which in turn attracts large pelagics such as mantas, mola mola and whale sharks when the seasons right.

Overall the island play hosts to a rich collection of diverse Indo-Pacific marine life. Although you won’t see that same diversity of corals as in other parts of Indonesia the fish life here is spectacular in its range. Also ideal for macro photographers you can expect an abundance of rare critters, on the Gapang Beach that sits just in front of the Lumba Lumba Dive Centre its not uncommon to see frog fish, ghost pipefish, snake eels and wasp fish all in the space of hour.

Diving Pulau Weh is also well known for its moray eels which pepper the dive sites, honey comb, fimbriated, giant and ribbon eels all make common sightings. Typical topographical features below the surface include reef walls, sloping house reefs, underwater hot springs and a deep and shallow wrecks.

Banda Aceh is the capital of Aceh and offers some real insight into the way of life of the Acehense. The locals are incredibly friendly and you’ll no doubt get your fair share of smiling faces and greetings as you make your way around the streets. The local markets are well worth a visit, with a whole range of local delicacies on offer. The Grand Mosque is located in the centre of town, you will have to dress appropriately to be allowed into the grounds and there are a number of other monuments worth spending some time at.

To dive Pulau Weh is an incredible and unforgettable experience. Tourism is in its most earliest of stages and the reefs that surround the island are pristine making the trip well worth the journey.

The Cayman Islands are well known for the outstanding dive sites and clear waters, but what if this doesn’t interest you? Well there are plenty of other water sports that you can take part in. John Guinn, the Cayman Islands Specialist at Holiday Hut lists his top nine.

Parasailing

When parasailing (also know as parascending) you are attached to a specially designed parachute, or parasail, and to a boat. The forward movement of the boat causes the parachute to rise and you are lifted up in the air. If the boat has enough power, then two or three people can share the same parachute.

Jet Ski

Jet Ski is a brand name, but in the same way that all spa baths are Jacuzzis and all vacuum cleaners are Hoovers, any personal watercraft that relies on a petrol powered engine and acts like a motorbike is know as a Jet Ski.

Jet skiing is fantastic fun, after a brief introduction you could be powering across the water on your own, or even going on a Jet Ski Safari to Stingray City. Just try not to think about the fact that they don’t have brakes!

Kiteboarding/Kitesurfing

Simple to explain, but difficult to master, a kiteboarder has his feet strapped to a board, while holding onto a large kite. The kite is used to propel the kiteboarder across the water. Both the board and the kite have to be controller to enable the kiteboarder to move and to do stunts. The Cayman Islands have a warm steady wind year round, making it the ideal place to learn to Kiteboard.

Windsurfing

Once called ‘surfing’s ginger haired cousin’ by the traditional surfers, windsurfing has become very popular, and until recently windsurfers were able to travel on waves that were too large for tradition surfing. A windsurf board is similar to a surfboard, but has a large sail, with a boon attached to it. Similar stunts to those performed by kiteboarders are possible. The best place to windsurf on Grand Cayman is near a flat water reef at East End. Speak to local guides if you want a more challenging surf.

Wakeboarding

When wakeboarding you are towed along by a motorboat while your feet are strapped to a wakeboard. It is a combination of water skiing, snowboarding and surfing.

Wakesurfing

A surfer is pulled along by the same type of boat that is used in wakeboarding, except the surfer releases the two rope and surfs the wake produced by the boat in a similar manner as normal surfing.

Surfing

Not a sport that you would associate with the calm Caribbean Sea, but at certain times of the year it is possible to have some challenging waves around he Cayman Islands. The Hurricane Season particularly August and September can see large swells due to nearby hurricanes and tropical storms. Although you could go weeks without a decent wave.

Sailing

Although off the beaten track, the Cayman Islands have excellent waters in which to sail. Despite the generally calm waters, there are hidden dangers with the many coral reefs around the islands, so care should be taken. Also these reefs make excellent places to stop and admire the underwater life (following the strict laws about mooring, or course). It is probably best to avoid the hurricane season as the rains and winds can make sailing difficult. If you don’t have your own boat, local companies have group sailings, or you could charter your own yacht along with a crew.

Kayaks

Sometimes called a canoe in error, a kayak differs from a canoe in that it has a closed paddling area. Also in a kayak you sit on a seat directly on the bottom of the boat and your legs are extended in front of you, but in a canoe you either kneel or sit on a elevated seat.

You can either kayak along the beach near your hotel, or for a magical experience you could go on a guided Eco-Tour around Grand Cayman and get a better understanding of the natural hidden beauty of the Cayman Islands.

Choosing a place for activity holidays is not always easy, just because there is an array of interesting locations and hot spots all over the world. Due to people’s different tastes and preferences, there are indeed numerous packages and travel destinations that offer amazing opportunities for an enjoyable vacation time that it can be really hard to choose. People prefer relaxed vacation in resorts, while some others go for skiing or sailing, or even extreme sports, some others are tourists, and some others are travellers. Let’s see how you can combine fun and activity holidays:

1. Las Vegas

It is probably one of the kitschiest places on Earth, known also as the capital of entertainment. If you are up to some gambling and you want to spend your vacations in a place where not all regular American laws apply, then the Sin city is the best choice. It may not seem like it, but there are numerous activities that take place in Vegas except for gambling. There is nothing you cannot do there, from parachuting to Grand Canyon trekking. It all depends on the package you will choose. Remember that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

2. France

If planning to spend your holidays in Europe, France should be on your top spot list. A large country with many different attractions to offer you depending what you want the most : the Cote d’Azur is the place to visit if you want to feel a little of the European style and French Elegance, as there is an array of cities and villages that you cannot see anywhere else, if you are not European. Sailing, scuba diving or car driving in Monaco is some of the activities to look for. Choosing Paris, on the other hand translates to a trip to a deeply romantic city, where wine and cheese tasting are absolutely essential.

4. Greece

There is no traveller and tourist who doesn’t dream of beaches, sun , nice breeze, buzz nightlife and Mediterranean cuisine. The Greek Islands are the paradise on earth, and there are approximately 500 of them that are developed, all different and all unique. If you are up to something adventurous and off the beaten path, then you should sail the Aegean Sea, or try some mountain hiking and trekking both in islands and the mainland.

5. Thailand

Thailand is one of the most popular tourist destinations when it comes to exotic countries and cultures and can offer a really memorable time. History, culture, exotic atmosphere, different religions, colourful environment, beaches and wonderful resorts that offer a wide selection of activities to their visitors are some of the things you can see when visiting Bangkok or some of the seaside village and cities.

Activity holidays do not necessary refer to spending all your time doing something active. Especially if you plan on family activity holidays, then you should make sure that both you as the couple and the kids should have enough time to rest and enjoy your time.

Upon arrival on the Big Island of Hawaii, visitors may be surprised by the rich geographical diversity that can be overwhelming upon first glance. With a stunning coastline, sharp volcanic slopes, and breathtaking canyons, anyone with an affection for the great outdoors will be unable to resist the urge to explore all this spectacular island has to offer. Head to the Big Island for your next vacation and experience the majestic nature of this jewel in the Pacific Ocean.

With its prime position in the middle of the Pacific, there are bound to be a number of activities you simply cannot wait to participate in after arriving on the Big Island. Whether you are staying on the coast or further inland, you should consider heading out into the depths of the ocean to some of the most secluded and spectacular spots in Hawaii. You can swim with exotic fish, circle gorgeous reefs, and view ancient lava flows on a diving or snorkeling excursion or stay inside the boat for a cruise in search of dolphins, whales, and manta rays.

If you are looking for a more thrilling, heart-pumping adventure, hop aboard a deep sea fishing charter for a try at some of the big fish off of the Kona coast. There are numerous fishing boats that will take you in search of marlin, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, dorado, and spearfish so you can come back from your trip with a story about the catch of a lifetime. If you enjoy seeking out your own thrills, grab a kayak and explore coral gardens, sea caves, lava tubes, and the different nooks and crannies that line the coast of the island.

For those times when all you want to do is sit back and relax, head to one of the many beautiful beaches the Big Island has in store for you. Kua Bay at Kona Coast State Park has beautiful white sand surrounded by a lush green landscape that is perfect for catching some sun or springing into the clear water that is great for swimming. Kaunaoa Bay or Mauna Kea Beach is one of the more popular beaches on the island due to the long crescent of white sand and the pleasant water conditions that allow for swimming and snorkeling. Don’t be surprised, however, if a green turtle or two comes across your path while strolling these soft sands.

When you want to explore the Big Island’s stunning terrain, there are a few places to head to see some of the best aspects of the island. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park rests upon two of the most active volcanoes in the world, Kilauea and Mauna Loa, and visitors can view lava from the hiking trails or take one of the scenic drives around the park. The Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden allows visitors to traverse trails that will take them through the rainforest and past flowing waterfalls and streams. This tropical oasis offers an exceptional and protected look at a myriad of plants from all over the world, including palms, bromeliads, gingers, and heliconias, so generations to come can revel in their beauty.

Another popular tourist destination is the Mauna Loa Macadamia Visitor Center located along the slope of the Mauna Loa volcano in Hilo. Here, you can drive through the plantation, walk through the nut and chocolate processing plant to see how the end product is created, and receive chocolate demonstrations and free samples near the gift shop Also, during your time in Hilo, be sure to stop by the Pana’ewa Rainforest Zoo to see the only tropical rainforest zoo in the United States. With more than 80 animal species including the white Bengal Tiger, this free zoo is certainly worth a stroll.

The Big Island of Hawaii is a great place for anyone who wants to combine an abundance of water activities with a one-of-a-kind landscape that will simply take your breath away. When searching for the right accommodations for your trip, look into the numerous Big Island vacation rentals that are located throughout the island. Whether you want to stay along the shores in a luxurious condo that has the most amazing views or you prefer surrounding yourself with the vibrant colors and lush greens that make up a large part of the island, there is a vacation rental that will meet all your needs and make it easy to relax throughout your trip.

The marvellous resort area of Punta Cana is located in the east of the Dominican Republic.

It is a very popular destination and good choice for couples and families seeking the perfect beach and rest and relax vacation. This region is famous for the European Style hotels and magnificent shopping strolls opportunities for traditional art and typical crafts.

The lovely Punta Cana shoreline is protected by law, making sure that no manmade structure can affect the lush natural beauty of these calm tranquil beaches, which are perfect for water sport lovers, especially for snorkelers and divers.

Punta Cana features Golf courses that are second to none.

Visit Punta Cana and find the best place for vegging out miles of silky fine white sand, deserted beaches with coconut palms. Come here to play in the waves of crystal clear blue waters and have your siesta under a swaying palm on a quaint tropical beach.

Within the Punta Cana areas there are no small villages as such but a lot of shopping plazas have now been built with bars and banks, small supermarkets, coffee shops and gift and clothes shops and pharmacies. Easily accessed by car or a short taxi ride from your hotel you will quickly come across one of the many plazas in the area.

Enjoys an excellent sunshine record. Subject to heavy rainfalls at certain times of year, though holidaymakers need pack little more than light cotton summer casuals for their visit. If you do intend to explore the major cities, however youll find a more conservative dress code.

Please note that June to November is generally the Hurricane season for the Caribbean.

In between soaking up the sun and generally marvelling at your luck at having landed on your feet and the fact that you are staying in such a super resort, strange as it may seem you may experience a yearning to venture out and see what this part of the island does indeed have to offer. There are an abundance of tours and excursions to choose from the very wet and watery to trekking inland a while on a jeep discovery tour. Wet and watery things to do include deep sea fishing, various boat rides from party rafts to cruising up the coast line and then snorkelling over rays and sharks, dolphin encounters in the middle of the ocean, diving and snorkelling tours. Small individual speed boats can be hired for organised fun tours.

Do you really think you can create a website? No? Not true, of course you can! Most people wrongly believe that they’ll never be able to create a website. The terms geek, guru and nerd spring to mind and you already feel intimated. Then you think about how to design a website and worry that it takes a lot of training, time and effort. Not to mention a boat load of programming skills!

Nothing could be further from the truth! I won’t lie and say that it takes no time and effort, there are some skills that you will need to learn, but it’s not as hard or time consuming as you may think. There are lots of programs and helpful sites that can take you step by step through the process of designing a website and then building it. You don’t need to break the bank hiring a web design company, With a few skills and some forethought you can build a website yourself.

Where Do I Start?

Your website does not have to be complicated and loaded with loads of flash animations, videos, graphics and the latest audio feeds. In fact these types of sites are often difficult to navigate, slow to load and not very nice to look at. Adding some multimedia into your website design can be done at a later stage, often the best and most successful websites are the simple sites and this is where you should start.

It’s all in the Planning

Before you dive in and start trying to create a website there are a few questions you should ask yourself. Go and get a pen and paper, then answer these next few questions.

Why do you want a website? This may seem like an obvious question, but take some time to think about it. Answering this question will help you identify new opportunities and leads directly into our next question; What is the purpose of your website? This is the most important question to answer as it will drive the whole website design process. You’ll design a store front site in a totally different way to an information site.

Next try to determine whet your main products are going to be and write them down. This will help you with the website design and navigation. Finally who is your audience? The language you use and to a lesser extent the style of your site will be dependent on this answer. You’ll use different language and look and feel if you’re trying to appeal to teens of college students than a website designed to appeal to business to business.

Pulling the Website design Together

Now go through your answers and on a separate sheet of paper start grouping your products (or information if its an information website) into main categories. These will all become web pages and form the first tier of navigation off your main page. Make sure the focus here is in keeping with the purpose of your website. There may be some further sub categories and these can be your second tier web pages that flow naturally from the first tier.

For instance if your main site is about golf, first tier web pages will be things like Golf Clubs, Golf Shoes, Golf Bags, Golf Accessories and Gold Courses. A second tier may come off Golf Accessories that covers Golf Balls, Golf Tees, Golf Club Head Covers etc. Keep the design of your website navigation clean and easy to follow so that your visitors can find what they want quickly and easily.
